"In my work as a jewelley designer, it inspires me greatly to work with jewellery as an independent object that does not require to live up to a function, but something that is pure luxury and about what turns you on and what you like. I am also inspired by my travels around the world where I experience new forms and kultures, as well as the various forms of nature, the bend of a branch, curves, the form and structure of leaves and the like".
Pernille is an industrial design graduate from The Danish Design School year 2001. She has throughout her career worked professionally with form and function on a wide range of design objects, and as an industrial Designer, worked for major Danish and Scandinavian brands.
Pernille has designed in a wide range of products, including various furniture, lamps and kitchenware, as well as personal products such as bags and jewellery.
In all her work as a professional designer Pernille Vinderskov has maintained focus on the simple organic forms, quality materials and use of colours to create original and classic design with a twist.
Vinderskov Design - Jewelry was founded in 2009 and is situated with studio and workshop on Kronprinsessegade in the heart of Copenhagen near Kongens have (The Kings Gardens).
